I am grateful. Grateful that I chose to pick up this book. Never in my wildest imagination would I have imagined I would find this book as interesting as I seem to do. I am so breath taken by the events in the book and simply amazed by the way Yann Mantel succeeds in telling another man's story so well, so detailed, so very interesting and capturing. I love it. As to whether I shall believe in God after reading this story I am still not convinced and have my doubts. Sure I like Pi's take on religion and his way of going about it. But I seriously doubt I shall start believing. Even so it is surely an amazing story. I wonder if it is based on true events?
